VAA seminar on 'Sports as a career' on July 26

Apart from them, Olympian shooter and former union sports minister Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Khel Ratna awardee shooter Anjali Bhagwat, executive member of World Archery Asia and former Indian coach Pramod Chandurkar will also attend the seminar. The speakers who will offer their valuable insights and guidance include former Indian cricketers Nilesh Kulkarni and Prashant Vaidya, Indian cricketers Umesh Yadav and Jitesh Sharma. Dr Anil Karwande will deliver a keynote address on 'The evolving landscape of sports careers'.

On the occasion city sports personalities including international badminton player Malvika Bansod, IM Divya Deshmukh, international TT player Jennifer Varghese, international archer Ojas Deotale, international boxer Alfiya Pathan, GM Raunak Sadhwani, international shooter Ananya Naidu and BCCI match referee Nama Khobragade.

Speaking on the occasion Bagde said, " The event aims to inspire and guide young sportspesons, students and parents on the diverse career opportunities in sports from professional playing careers to coaching, physiotherapy, sports journalism,management and more. With the participation from educational institutions, sports academies and athletes across the India, we expect an engaging and informative experience for all the participants". VAA officials Priti Dudulkar, Mangesh Dudulkar, Prashant Debre, SanjayKadu, Nitin Gohane and others were present on the occasion.
