Chairman of administrative board of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur and industrialist Vishram Jamdar (73) passed away on early Wednesday morning. He was known as able organiser. Jamdar who was associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, has also done valuable work in various organisations. He is survived by wife, two sons, daughter and son in law.

Jamdar was ailing from last several days and was under treatment. His fight for survival ended on Wednesday. He had made huge contribution in development of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology. He did work of changing face of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology and basic infrastructure in last few years. He took responsibility of Sanskar Bharti in 1985. Later, he worked as Vidarbha prant president and Akhil Bharatiya mahamantri of Sanskar Bharti also. He was all India president of Laghu Udyog Bharti. He was also conferred with various awards in industrial sector also.
