SportsJournalists' Association of Nagpur (SJAN) has organised the tournament in association with Shalinitai Meghe Hospital and Research Centre(SMHRC).

Batting first Tarun Bharat piled up 184 for 4 in 20 overs. Thanks to Dinesh Borkar who slammed 70 in 40 balls hitting nine fours and two sixes. Vyavhare also batted well and contributed 36 (38b, 4x4) For Dainik Bhaskar Sunil Gajbhiye claimed three wickets for 29 runs.

In reply, Dainik Bhaskar lost their wickets at regular interval and were all out for a paltry 70 in 14 overs. Only Sameer Khanna (22 not out) and Rahul Thakur (13) offered some resistance.

For Rabun Bharat Vyavhare and Mannu Bawa shared six wickets between them.

Acting director of the Department of Sports and Physical Education of RTM Nagpur University Dr Vishakha Joshi gave away man-of-the-match prize to Rajesh Vyavhare. No match will be played on Sunday.
