 sudden bee attack left 16 college students injured on the premises of Sandeep Foundation on Trimbak Road on Tuesday (March 4) around 4 pm. The incident occurred when a beehive unexpectedly fell near the S Building of the college, triggering a swarm of bees to attack the students.

Two students suffered severe injuries as the bees stung them in the eyes and ears, leaving them in critical condition. They, along with 14 other injured students, are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ashoknagar. The injured students include Shubham Gunjal, Akanksha Patil, Anshi Kasme, Bhavesh Raut, Prasannajit Baghole, Mohit Jadhav, Sandeep Shere, and Mahesh Borse.

According to eyewitnesses, the attack occurred near a tower on the college premises. Students and staff rushed to help the victims, while emergency medical aid was provided before shifting them to the hospital. Parents of students from Yababa Vidyashya expressed concerns over safety measures in the area.

Authorities have been alerted, and efforts are being made to locate and remove any remaining beehives to prevent further incidents.
