Holi 2025: Central Railway Announces Special Trains Between Mumbai and Gorakhpur; Check Timings and Routes

To accommodate the increased number of passengers during Holi, Central Railway has announced eight special trains between Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Gorakhpur.

Train No. 05326, the LTT Mumbai-Gorakhpur Holi Special, will depart from Mumbai at 10:20 AM every Monday and Thursday between March 13 and March 24. It will reach Gorakhpur at 8:00 PM the next day. Similarly, Train No. 05325, the Gorakhpur-Mumbai Holi Special, will leave Gorakhpur at 7:00 PM on Tuesdays and Saturdays from March 11 to March 22, arriving at LTT Mumbai at 6:50 AM on the third day.

The special train will stop at several key stations, including Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati (Bhopal), Bina, Veerangana Lakshmibai (Jhansi), Orai, Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Mankapur, and Khalilabad.

The train will have four AC three-tier coaches, four sleeper class coaches, and four general second-class coaches. Booking for these special trains, which will have a special fare, will begin on March 12 at all computerized reservation centers and on the IRCTC website www.irctc.co.in.

Passengers are advised to book their tickets in advance to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
