On the one hand, summer, on the other hand, the increase in the number of dengue patients in the city. This has posed a challenge to the Municipal Health Department. From January to April 15, i.e. in three and a half months, the number of patients has crossed 100. Last year, the number of patients was around 80 in three months during the same period. Meanwhile, the Municipal Health Department has appealed to citizens to immediately go to the hospital and get tested if they experience dengue symptoms.

There is a picture of an increase in dengue patients compared to last year, and 812 patients were affected between January and April last year. However, at present, a hundred patients are suffering from dengue disease. Although the Malaria Department is taking measures to prevent dengue, they are proving to be insufficient. As a measure, mosquito breeding centers are being searched in all six departments of the city. Wherever mosquito breeding centers are found, they are being destroyed. The city is facing a scorching summer, while on the other hand there is the challenge of dengue disease. Dengue is mainly seen more during the monsoon season. After rains, water pools in places. Mosquitoes that transmit dengue are born in that water. Rainwater pools in apartments in residential areas, in objects stuck on the terraces of houses.

Take care that water pools do not accumulate in or around the house. The health department is keeping an eye on this. Measures are being taken against dengue, and if citizens feel symptoms, they should go to the nearest hospital and get checked.

Last year, a significant increase in dengue was seen in three months during the same period.
