A 19-year-old youth was brutally attacked by a group of five people near Damodarnagar Chowk, Pathardi Phata, on Sunday (23rd) around 8 PM. The victim, Pritesh alias Ritesh Haribhau Latte, suffered serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Pathardi Phata.

Attack Linked to Old Dispute

According to reports, the attack was pre-planned and linked to an old dispute. A group of four to five men attacked Latte with sharp weapons before fleeing the scene. Locals alerted the police and rushed the injured youth to the hospital.

Police Investigation Underway

The Crime Investigation Team has launched a manhunt to track down the suspects. The police are also reviewing CCTV footage from the area to gather more evidence.

Authorities have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in the area. Further investigations are ongoing.
