A tragic incident occurred on Friday morning (21st) in the Govind Nagar area of CIDCO, where a construction worker lost his life after falling from the 14th floor of an under-construction building. The accident happened while centering work was in progress.

The deceased has been identified as Vishwajit Manjit Vishwas (20), a resident of West Bengal. According to reports, a new building is under construction near RD Circle in Govind Nagar. Around 8:30 AM, while Vishwajit was engaged in centering work on the 14th floor, he lost his balance and fell. The impact caused severe injuries to his head, face, and limbs, leading to his death on the spot.

Local police have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities are looking into whether proper safety measures were in place at the construction site.

This tragic incident has once again raised serious concerns about worker safety at construction sites. Labor organizations and experts have repeatedly emphasized the need for strict safety regulations, proper training, and protective gear to prevent such accidents.

Further action and accountability regarding the incident are expected following the police inquiry.
