Nashik witnessed a tragic accident on Sunday evening when a speeding sports bike collided head-on with a moped near Chehedi, claiming the lives of a father-in-law and son-in-law. Eyewitnesses reported that the bikers were performing stunts in a reckless "Dhoom-style" manner, endangering others on the road.

The deceased have been identified as Mahesh Narwade (35), a resident of Karkhana Road, and Anil Baburao Lazarus (71), a resident of Gorewadi. The accident occurred around 5 PM when the duo was riding a two-wheeler (MH15 GT 8830) from Palase Shivara on Pune Highway towards Nashik Road.

As they approached Neelkantheshwar Temple near Shramik Nagar, a high-speed sports bike (MH47 S 1222) coming from Nashik Road crashed into their vehicle. The impact was severe, causing both Mahesh and Anil to be thrown onto the road. They suffered fatal head injuries and were declared dead on the spot.

Eyewitnesses stated that the sports bikers were speeding recklessly and had already collided with other vehicles before losing control and hitting the victims. The police have taken note of the incident, and further investigation is underway.
