In a incident on Friday at around 5 PM, 40-year-old Pramod Wagh was fatally attacked by two youths during a land dispute at Sinnar Phata. The attackers, Yogesh Ramdas Pagare and Saddam Malik, have since gone into hiding. The Nashik Road Police Station has launched a murder investigation and is actively searching for the suspects.

According to police reports, Pramod Wagh was traveling on a two-wheeler along the service road towards Sinnar Phata when he was intercepted by the suspects. As Wagh engaged in conversation with one of them on the street, the other assailant grabbed an iron rod (tommy) from a nearby puncture shop and attacked Wagh. The vicious assault left Wagh critically injured.

Local citizens who witnessed the attack rushed Wagh to a private hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. The police have suggested that the murder might have been premeditated, with surveillance and a planned attack.

Law enforcement officials are currently tracking the suspects using CCTV footage from the area. The Nashik Road Police Station has registered a case against Yogesh Ramdas Pagare and Saddam Malik, both of whom are now on the run.

Residents of Sinnar Phata are in shock over the violent turn of events stemming from a land dispute. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspects' whereabouts to come forward, as the search intensifies to bring the perpetrators to justice. The community mourns the loss of Pramod Wagh and hopes for swift legal action against those responsible for this heinous crime.
