The Nashik Municipal Corporation removed the encroachment on the wall of the religious place built by the Hazrat Satpir Syed Dargah Trust in Kathe Gali Barisara in Nashik city on Saturday (22). While the hearing was going on with the Waqf Board regarding the relevant land, the revenue administration had registered Satbara Island only based on the Waqf Board's letter. The Chief Executive Officer of the Tribunal, Junaid Sheikh, had given a letter to the Revenue Administration to name the remaining area of 257.36 square meters as Satpir Syed Baba Dargah. Without verifying this letter, the Tehsildar Kulkayada and Tehsildar Nashik took Cow Change Record No. 206454 under 14 November 2024.
