3 more soldiers involved in Kashmir LoC gunfight die

Three more soldiers injured in a gunfight on the Line of Control (LoC) between infiltrating terrorists and security forces succumbed on Monday, taking the death toll of soldiers killed in this operation to eight.

Srinagar, April 6 Three more soldiers injured in a gunfight on the Line of Control (LoC) between infiltrating terrorists and security forces succumbed on Monday, taking the death toll of soldiers killed in this operation to eight.

Defence sources said the three who succumbed to critical injuries included a Junior Commissioned Officer.

Five terrorists and five soldiers were killed in the LoC operation in Keran sector on Sunday.
