A three-year-old boy fell into an open borewell in Setupura Village in Niwari district on Wednesday, said ASP Niwari Pratibha Tripathi.

Police reached the spot. The operation to rescue him is still underway.

"We've got all resources from SDRF, Army & others. Efforts are underway to rescue the child safely in  the next 2-3 hours,"ASP Niwari Pratibha Tripathi said.
