An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter scale hit near Bharuch in Gujarat on Saturday, said National Center for Seismology (NCS).

An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter scale hit near Bharuch in Gujarat on Saturday, said National Center for Seismology (NCS).

The tremors were felt at 15:39 hours, according to NCS.

No casualties and damage to property have been reported as of now.
