A class 9th tribal girl died under suspicious circumstances at an Ashram school run by the tribal welfare department in Ichoda mandal centre of Adilabad district in Telangana on Monday, March 10. The deceased girl was identified as Lalithya (13).

According to the initial investigation, Lalithya died due to bouts of epilepsy. The 13-year-old was a native of Morkandi village in Bazarhathnoor mandal. She was found dead on Monday morning, school staff informed her parents.

Parents confronted the headmaster of the school, alleging that his negligence claimed the life of the girl. They demanded stern action against those responsible for her death. They wanted compensation for losing their daughter.
