On June 12, a tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad shocked the entire nation. In this horrific accident, all passengers and crew members aboard the flight lost their lives. As per the Gujarat government data total 275 were killed in the crash. Only one passenger miraculously survived the crash. A black box from the ill-fated aircraft was recovered and has been under investigation. Now, the investigation team has made significant progress.

All eyes were on the black box, as it was expected to provide crucial information about the cause of the crash. A major development has now emerged from the investigation. The Crash Protection Module (CPM) was safely ejected from the black box on June 24, and its memory module was accessed on June 25. The data has now been successfully downloaded at the AAIB Lab, and the exact cause of the accident will soon be known.
The investigation into the data retrieved from the black box of the crashed plane is still ongoing in Ahmedabad. Currently, the CVR (Cockpit Voice Recorder) and FDR (Flight Data Recorder) data are being thoroughly analysed. These efforts aim to identify the root cause of the crash, improve aviation safety standards, and help prevent such tragedies in the future, according to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
The fatal incident occurred on June 12, when a London-bound Air India Boeing Dreamliner crashed just seconds after take-off. The aircraft crashed in the Meghani Nagar area, just outside the airport, hitting a residential complex near a medical college. The crash claimed the lives of at least 275 people, including 241 passengers on board and 34 individuals on the ground.
