Andhra Pradesh:  A major tragedy was avoided after an electric pole collapsed during repair work in Ashok Nagar, Kurnool. A kid who was passing the pole at the time ran back before it fell on the road. Video shows the aftermath of the pole falling. This whole incident has surfaced on social media and has created  concern about the road safety. 

Video shared by deadly kalesh on X shows, open canal and a kid was walking by the side. Suddenly poll fell on the road. Fortunately kid ran away before poll landed on ground.

On January 27th, tragic accident occurred  near Kolmatha-Nandlal Lawns in Otur on the Kalyan-Ahilyanagar state highway leaving two injured, two dead.  The incident has caused grief in the area, and anger is being expressed over the poor condition of the road. Deceased have been identified as Varad Amol Tambe, a resident of Otur, Junnar taluka, Pune and Karan Pavle a resident of Pirangut, Pune.

According to the information received, four young men were traveling towards Kalyan in a car. While trying to avoid large potholes on the road near Kolmatha in Otur, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The car first crashed violently into a wood apple tree on the side of the road. It then hit a barrier further ahead and overturned. The accident was so severe that the car was extensively damaged. All four young men in the vehicle were seriously injured. Upon receiving information about the incident, local citizens and the Otur police immediately started rescue operations and shifted the injured to the hospital.
