Bengaluru will experience power cut in many parts of city on February 17, 2026. BESCOM announced, electricity supply disruption in Manyata Tech Park and surrounding areas scheduled for Tuesday. This power cut will be done for emergency maintenance work at the 220/66 KV Manyata Tech Park substation, officials confirmedA 7-hour BESCOM power outage is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, impacting residential, commercial, and IT areas in north Bengaluru. Residents and Manyata Tech Park employees should plan accordingly, as the outage may affect offices, traffic, elevators, and daily routines.

Areas Affected by Bengaluru Power Cut Today

A scheduled BESCOM power outage on February 17 will affect the following areas supplied by the 220/66 KV Manyata Tech Park substation: Manyata Tech Park, Maruti Layout, Bhubaneswari Nagar, AIR Layout, Rachenahalli P&T Layout, Srirampura, Masthi Palya, Chamundeshwari Layout, and nearby surrounding areas. This outage is due to emergency electrical maintenance to ensure safe and stable future power distribution.

Reason Behind the BESCOM Power Outage

Officials stated that the Bengaluru power cut is necessary to complete urgent repair and preventive maintenance work under the KPTCL Jalahalli division. Such planned power cuts in Bengaluru are being conducted to avoid unexpected breakdowns, transformer failures, or long-duration blackouts in the future.

Residents and workers in the Manyata Tech Park power cut zone should: charge devices beforehand; expect lift and water disruptions; plan work around the 10 AM - 5 PM BESCOM outage; and have emergency lighting available.
