Residents living in Bengaluru will be facing a schedule power cut Today, i.e Wednesday, February 11, 2026, which will last for  approximately 7 hours in more than 30 locations in the city. This power cut is schedule for essential maintenance and infrastructure upgrades aimed at ensuring a reliable electricity supply during the peak summer months. The repair work will began from 10 am in morning and the power is likely to resume at around 4 pm in some areas, while in some location power will be resumed on 5:00pm. 

Residents are advised  to be prepare for scheduled power maintenance by charging devices, planning around the outage, and having backup lighting. If working remotely, consider an alternate location with power. These steps will minimize disruption and prevent future outages.

10 AM to 4 PM

Laxmi Layout, Southcity Apartments, Kammanahalli, Shanthinikethana School area, Electronics City Phase-1, Doddathogur Bommanahalli,  NJR Layout, Chikkathogur, Hongasandra, Konnappana Agrahara (and surrounding localities) 

10 AM to 5 PM

Koramangala (multiple blocks; including 3rd to 6th), Netravathi Block, Jyothinivas College area, Godavari Block, ST Bed/Judicial Block, KML Village, Kapila Block, Raheja Tower area, B Nagasandra, NAL Road, SR Layout / NR Layout / PR Layout, Amarjyothi Layout (West Wing),  Vinayakanagar / Wing Tunnel Road, Koramangala Industrial Area 5th Block, Madiwala & Venkateshwara Layout, Chikka Adugodi / St John Staff Quarters,  Jogi Colony / Adugodi Main Road, St Johns Hospital area,  Maruthi Nagar / Dollar Scheme Colony 100 Feet Ring Road / Oracle / Bannerghatta Road,  KHB Colony / Mico Layout (3rd & 7th Blocks), Bhuvanappa Layout / Kaveri Layout / Krishna Nagar Industrial Layout / SG Palya, Madiwala Market / Siddhartha Colony, (and nearby residential and commercial pockets)

Residents and businesses in the affected areas should prepare for the power outage by having backup power sources ready and charging essential devices. Avoid using heavy electrical equipment during the outage.

BESCOM officials stated that these planned outages are necessary for preventive maintenance, including repairs and upgrades to electrical infrastructure. This proactive maintenance enhances network reliability and reduces the likelihood of unexpected outages, particularly during peak demand.
