Many areas of Bengaluru will be affected by the power cut today to carry out the line work. BESCOM has once again announced electricity outage on Feb 25 will affect residents in several villages under the Tumkur district. Power cut on February 25, 2026 will last for 8 hours long and will last from 10 am to 6 pm in areas falling under BESCOM Rural Sub-Division-2. The disruption is part of planned maintenance aimed at strengthening electricity infrastructure in the region.
Areas Affected During BESCOM Power Outage
Power supply will be suspended in the villages of Heddur, Sirivara, Ballagere, Niduvallu, and Kanakuppe due to link line maintenance in Rural Sub-Division-2. BESCOM advises residents in surrounding areas connected to these Gram Panchayats to expect disruptions during scheduled hours. This maintenance is necessary to improve reliability and prevent future faults. The Assistant Executive Engineer requests consumer cooperation during this period. Power supply is expected to resume after 6 pm upon completion of work
In separate news, BESCOM electricity bill payment details are now available on the BESCOM Mitra app. Consumers can now easily access billing information, view payment history and graphs, and access consumer services directly from their smartphones. BESCOM encourages all consumers to download the app for improved convenience.
Consumers can also raise complaints and service requests through the platform without visiting the BESCOM office. One can download the BESCOM Mitra app from both the Play Store and the Apple App Store.
