This devastating event highlights the dangers posed by extreme weather conditions. As Bengaluru experienced heavy rainfall and strong winds, around 30 trees fell across the city, contributing to chaos on the roads. In addition to the tree-related accidents, several low-lying areas faced waterlogging, while traffic congestion disrupted the city's normal flow.

The rainfall, though bringing much-needed relief from the intense heat, also triggered power outages in some areas and led to disruptions in air travel. At least 19 flights were diverted due to the adverse weather conditions. Hailstorms were also reported in parts of Bengaluru Rural district, including Hosakote.
