In a shocking turn of events, the dead body of a 32-year-old woman, identified as Gauri Khedekar, was found stuffed in a suitcase near Ambedkar Apartment in Doddanekundi Village, Bengaluru.

The deceased, Gauri Khedekar, lived with her husband, Rakesh Rajendra Khedekar, 36, at a flat in Doddakammanahalli, near Hulimavu. According to a police officer, "The woman’s entire body was found stuffed in the suitcase." The couple hailed from Maharashtra and both worked in private firms in Bengaluru.

The body has been sent for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death. While the investigation is ongoing, the police are focusing on the couple's background and possible motives behind the tragedy.

The Hulimavu police are currently at the crime scene, with Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Sarah Fathima also present. The forensic analysis team and Scene of Crime Officers (SOCO) are conducting their investigation.
