Over 900 liquor bottles hidden in a school van in Bihar's Banka village were recovered after the news agency IANS received a tip from an informant on Friday, March 21. Acting on the tip-off, law officials stopped the yellow school van and searched the vehicle, which contained a large amount of illegal Liquor; however, the van's driver fled the spot.

Police found 929 bottles of liquor hidden on the roof of a school van. A case has been registered against the van owner and driver.

Meanwhile, an unverified account of Banka police posted on X reads, “During patrolling on 21.03.2025, a total of 319.125 liters of foreign liquor was seized from 01 school van, and raids are being conducted to arrest the accused, and further action is being taken.”
