A tragic shootout unfolded this morning between two brothers, Jayjeet and Vishwajeet Yadav, in Jagatpur village, Parbatta, reportedly triggered by an ongoing water dispute. The violent confrontation left Vishwajeet dead at the scene, while Jayjeet suffered serious injuries.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Prerna Kumar, the authorities were alerted about the incident early in the day. "In the morning, I received information about a shooting incident involving two brothers. I immediately directed the Parbatta police to reach the scene," she said. "The injured person was promptly taken to the hospital. According to hospital sources, one of the victims has passed away, while the other is still undergoing treatment."Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the altercation, with initial reports suggesting a long-standing dispute.
