The data from the /C-Voter Delhi Tracker survey shows that over five days - January 16 to January 20, the BJP has improved its voter ratings by 2.4 per cent, while the ruling AAP has dipped by approximately 1.6 percentage.

On Monday, January 20, the Delhi Tracker showed 29.2 per cent voters favouring the BJP while 53.8 per cent of respondents went for the Aam Aadmi Party.

In comparison, only 26.3 per cent of Delhi voters had favoured the BJP on January 16, when queried as to who they would vote for in the Assembly elections, if elections were to be held on the same day.

For the same day, 55.4 voters had swung towards the AAP.

Throughout this period, the Congress ratings had remained stable at 3.4 per cent.

The /C-Voter Delhi Tracker survey projections on January 6, when the Election Commission had announced the schedule for Delhi Assembly elections, had given the AAP 53.3 per cent of votes and a seat tally of close to 59 seats, while the BJP with 25.9 per cent of votes may have to remain content with just eight seats.

According to observers, the factors such as candidate selection, the information on candidates assets, parties' stance on developmental issues influence the voters' preferences.

Delhi goes to polls on February 8 and counting will be on February 11.

In the outgoing Assembly, the AAP had won 67 seats which came down to 62 after five of its legislators were disqualified. It lost one more seat in a bypoll after the seat was vacated by an AAP legislator, who won in the Punjab Assembly polls.
