BJP-Congress MLAs clash at Bhopal airport

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress MLAs gathered at Raja Bhoj airport here on Friday after they got to know that MLAs supporting Jyotiraditya Scindia were returning from Bengaluru.

Bhopal, March 13 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress MLAs gathered at Raja Bhoj airport here on Friday after they got to know that MLAs supporting Jyotiraditya Scindia were returning from Bengaluru.

MLAs of both the parties shouted slogans and even a scrimmage was reported.

Twenty two MLAs resigned from the Congress soon after Scindia quit the primary membership of the party. Out of these, 19 were in Bengaluru. The resignation letters of all the MLAs were submitted to Assembly speaker N.P. Prajapati by a BJP delegation.

Thirteen of these MLAs were returning to Bhopal after Prajapati asked them to report here.

Ministers Tulsi Silawat, Govind Singh Rajput, Prabhuram Choudhry, Imarti Devi, Pradyumna Singh Tomar and Mahendra Singh Sisodia along with MLAs Hardeep Singh Dang, Rajyavardhan Singh, Brajendra Singh Yadav, Jaspal Jajji, Suresh Dhakad, Jaswant Jatav, Santram Sironia, Munnalal Goyal, Ranveer Singh Jatav, OPS Bhadoria, Kamlesh Jatav, Giriraj Dandotiya, Raghuraj Kansana, Aidalsingh Kansana, Biasahulal Singh and Manoj Chaudhary have quit after Scindia resigned from the Congress.
