The woman has claimed that, a few years ago, the BJP MLA had arrived in Neemuch to take part in a social programme and met her at that time.

In her complaint, the woman claimed that since then she and Bheel began meeting on several occasions and during which the BJP MLA had informed her about his failed marriage. She claimed that Bheel informed her about his unsatisfactory relationship with his wife. The woman claimed that she agreed to Bheel's repeated proposals for marriage on the condition that he gained approval from his family. The woman claimed that, on one occasion, Bheel asked her to visit him in Udaipur claiming that he had attained the approval of his family. He took her to a place where, despite her refusal, got into physical relation with her after telling her that the path to their marriage was clear.
