In what comes as shocking piece of information, BJP Vice president Baijayant Jay Panda has claimed on Twitter that he has come across documents to prove some Bollywood celebrities have links to Pakistan and ISI. "Came across shocking threads documenting personal & business links of some Bollywood personalities with certain Pakistanis & NRIs with undeniable track record encouraging violence in J&K, who have verifiable links to ISI & Pak army. I urge patriotic Bollywoodies to renounce them," Panda tweeted.
The BJP leader from Odisha did not name anyone but his tweet is bound to create some flutters in B-town. In a interview to Republic Media Jay Panda said, there were multiple threads on Twitter containing photographic evidence of persons urging people to commit violence in Jammu and Kashmir. According to him, such individuals were seen partying with Bollywood personalities. Following Panda's startling claim, several users on Twitter asked the BJP leader why the government has not taken action against those Bollywood celebrities if their links with the ISI are known to him.Some users also asked him to name the Bollywood celebs who have links with the Pakistani intelligence agency. Bollywood is already under the spotlight after the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Right from nepotism and favouritism to Bollywood's power camps a lot has been said about the functioning of Indian cinema.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was dragged in the controversy after pictures of Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan appeared with California based Kashmiri separatist Tony Ashai, who has been urging Kashmiri youth to fight against India. A popular Srinagar-based activist who goes by the name Al iskandar @TheSkandar on Twitter posted a series of tweets claiming that Tony Ashai, also known as Aziz Ashai, has been a member of the terror group Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) sponsored by ISI.
Tony Ashai, has designed Shahrukh Khan's Dubai buildings and Los Angeles apartments. The Bollywood superstar, according to the Srinagar activist, hired Ashai as an architect. Khan's wife Gauri, he claimed is involved with Ashai in a lot of her projects. As the tweets went viral, many Twitter users dug out several pictures of Shahrukh, his wife and Tony on social media. Some users pulled out pictures of other stars like Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Karan Johar and others with another anti-India activist based in the UK.
