The special session of the Rajasthan assembly, called on the 70th year of the adoption of the Constitution, witnessed many interesting scenes on Friday: Congress Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot spoke 'modi hai to mumkin hai' several times in the Assembly as he took a dig at PM's style of functioning.

BJP MLA Ashok Lahoti, speaking at the entrance of the Assembly, said he was thankful to the CM for "chanting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's name 46 times" and repeating "Modi hai to mumkin hai for 26 times".

"It seems he (the CM) has acknowledged the fact that India is on road to progress under NDA's rule and is making a mark on global map under the leadership of Modi", said Lahoti.

Addressing the Assembly, Gehlot had earlier said that no one has the right to flout Constitution. "Today, it looks like there is a presidential form of government. Modi, Modi, Modi is happening everywhere, but 'Modi hai to mumkin hai' is a worrying factor", he said.

The CM attacked the RSS, the ideological mentor of BJP, and demanded that RSS be converted into a political entity.

Speaking during the Assembly session, Gehlot specifically addressing the leader of Opposition, said, "Your former CM (Vasundhara Raje) has also been made to sit apart as she started speaking out. Now she is not coming to the House."

"You will also be made Governor overnight for you are now 75 and we shall be knowing about it the next morning", he told Gulabchand Kataria, leader of the opposition, as he turned 75 recently.

At the end of his address, he said, "Everyone in the state, including your party workers (BJP) wanted me to become chief minister as people of Rajasthan love me as a leader. We don't have any personal enmity, but it is a fight of ideology which shall continue," said Gehlot.
