Zuhaib Khan, a renowned artist from Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, has gained national attention for his unique tribute to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Using charcoal and graphite, Khan has created a detailed, large-scale portrait of the Union Minister to mark her historic ninth consecutive budget presentation, which takes place today in New Delhi.

The painting featured FM Sitharaman with a red tablet written Budget 2026 with the Parliament building. It is also featuring a soldier carrying an assault rifle, which reflectsthe defence budget. On the far right, it can be seen metro train shows infrastructure development in terms of connecting cities that bridge India closer.

The picture also show happy couple holding money in their hands. The charcoal painting also featured crops and Tax.

Zuhaib Khan, known for his social activism through art, completed the charcoal sketch in his hometown of Amroha just hours before the parliamentary budget session. Khan, who often uses unconventional media to highlight civic issues or honour national figures.

The portrait comes as Nirmala Sitharaman prepares to set a new record in Indian parliamentary history. By presenting the Union Budget 2026-27 today, she becomes the first Finance Minister to deliver nine consecutive budgets (including one interim budget), surpassing the record of former Prime Minister Morarji Desai.
