CAA: Complaint filed against Sonia, Priyanka, Owaisi and Ravish Kumar

A complaint has been lodged against Interim President Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act . According to the news agency ANI, all three are accused of making provocative speeches regarding the amended citizenship law. The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court has fixed the date of January 24, 2020 for hearing on the complaint.

In this case, a lawyer named Pradeep Gupta has filed a complaint against Sonia-Priyanka and Owaisi in the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Along with the three leaders the complaint also includes the name of fellow journalist Ravish Kumar.
