New Delhi/Bhopal, May 8 Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday met BJP national president Nitin Nabin and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in the national capital and invited both leaders to visit his state.

During his meeting with Nitin Nabin, the Chief Minister said he briefed the party leadership on key government initiatives, welfare schemes and upcoming programmes in Madhya Pradesh. He highlighted that strong coordination between the government and the BJP organisation had helped in the effective implementation of schemes at the grassroots level.

“Madhya Pradesh has the strongest organisational structure in the BJP. We discussed both organisational matters and governance with the BJP chief.

He expressed satisfaction over our work. I have also invited him to visit the state,” Yadav told reporters after the meeting.

He said the state government had launched several public welfare schemes since assuming office and was working continuously to ensure that their benefits reached people effectively.

CM Yadav added that discussions also included important national issues and future development plans.

“I feel satisfied and happy that several public welfare schemes have been launched in Madhya Pradesh since the formation of the government. Many national issues were also discussed during the meeting,” he added.

The Chief Minister also informed the BJP chief about major upcoming events in the state, including Simhastha, saying both the government and the party organisation would play an important role in ensuring their successful execution.

During his meeting with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the Chief Minister discussed the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

CM Mohan Yadav said Madhya Pradesh was the first state to implement NEP 2020 and was focusing on improving the quality of education. He said the government was promoting skill-based and employment-oriented learning to better prepare youth for future opportunities.

“Our Sandipani schools will become a model for the entire country. We have invited Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to visit the state and see these schools,” he said.

He added that the state was working in coordination with the Centre to strengthen higher and technical education and expand opportunities for students.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yadav also congratulated BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari on being elected leader of the legislature party in West Bengal and expressed hope that the state would witness rapid development under his leadership.
