Imphal, Oct 23 A 25-year-old man was arrested for reportedly shooting at a 22-year-old college student in Manipur’s Imphal West district on Monday.

The police said that Takhellambam Deepu Singh allegedly shot at Ahanthem Ritesh Kumar following an altercation at the Uripok Khoisnam Leikai area under Imphal police station.

Kumar, who suffered injury on his chin, is a student of DM College of Arts. He has been shifted to the hospital.

The police are probing the incident.
