Urging people to listen to the advice of doctors, the Prime Minister said all those who have been told to stay at home quarantine should follow the instructions. Modi made a series of tweets and urged people to take precautions.

"Never forget -- precautions not pc! It's not only important to be home but also remain in the town/city where you are. Unnecessary travels will not help you or others. In these times, every small effort on our part will leave a big impact."
