Ram Rahim was granted one day parole. It has been revealed that the BJP-JJP government led by Haryana Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar had granted one-day parole to Ram Rahim on October 24.

According to sources, Ram Rahim was granted a one-day parole to visit his ailing mother. Ram Rahim's mother is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Gurugram. Dera chief Ram Rahim was taken from Sunaria Jail in Rohtak to a hospital in Gurugram under tight security.
Ram Rahim stayed with his mother till the evening of October 24. Sources said that three units of Haryana Police were deployed for his security. There were 80 to 100 jawans in a detachment. Dera chief Ram Rahim was rushed to a hospital in Gurugram in a police vehicle. Also, the floor where Ram Rahim's mother was undergoing treatment was completely emptied during the visit.
In this regard, Rohtak SP Rahul Sharma said, "We had received a request from the jail superintendent to provide security for Ram Rahim's visit to Gurugram." We had provided security from morning till evening on October 24. The whole process was carried out peacefully.
Meanwhile, questions are being raised on the method of granting parole to Gurmeet Ram Rahim. Only the Chief Minister and some senior government officials in Haryana were aware of the parole granted to Ram Rahim. Not only that, the soldiers did not even know who they were escorting. However, by granting parole to Ram Rahim in this way, the authorities in Haryana have paved the way for granting him parole in the future.
