As the case came up at the Dindoshi Court at Mumbai, Binoy Kodiyeri's counsel Ashok Gupta argued this was a cooked-up case and an attempt to blackmail his client, while the prosecution, opposing the bail, said all the required evidences are there and have been produced before the court.

After hearing the arguments, the court said it would deliver its ruling on Monday.

In the FIR filed at the Oshiwara police station in Andheri area, a 33-year-old Mumbai-based woman, who hails from Bihar, has alleged that Binoy sexually exploited her for several years on the promise of marriage and claims they also have a child.

She registered the complaint on June 13 after she came to know that he was already married.

According to her complaint, she entered into a relationship with Binoy while working at a dance bar in Dubai in 2008 and now has an eight-year-old child with him. She alleged that till 2015, Binoy even used to send her money every month.

The victim has also handed over some crucial documents, including pictures, to the police.

Meanwhile, a Mumbai police team is in Kerala's Kannur to arrest Binoy and has already posted the notice at his two in the district. It will also attempt to find him at his address in the state capital.

But Binoy, who was in Kannur, has slipped away and his mobile phones have been switched off.
