Three men were found dead, and one critically injured in a single-room residence in South Delhi's Dakshinpuri area on Friday morning. Police suspect suffocation as the likely cause. According to the media reports, the deceased have been identified as Imran alias Salman, his brother Mohsin, and an unidentified man. The fourth individual, Haseeb, is undergoing treatment and remains in critical condition. All four worked as air conditioner mechanics and were believed to be staying together in the rented room.

According to the media reports, police received a PCR call around 11.15 a.m. from Zishan, a resident of Bhalswa Dairy, who reported that his brother was not answering phone calls. When officers reached the location, they found the door locked from inside. After entering, they discovered four men lying unconscious on the first floor. The individuals were immediately taken to Ambedkar Hospital and later shifted to Safdarjung Hospital and AIIMS Trauma Centre.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Ankit Chouhan said that AC units and gas cylinders were found inside the room. "There were some AC units kept inside the room and gas cylinders. All of them were evacuated immediately and sent to hospital. Three of them were declared brought dead and one is under treatment. Prima facie, there is no foul play. Further investigation is being done to determine whether there was any gas leak," Chouhan said.

A forensic team has been called in, and post-mortem reports are awaited to confirm the exact cause of death.
