Two people were injured after an Audi car travelling at a high speed struck them in Delhi's Lodhi Road on Monday night, February 18. According to the Delhi Police, a case has been registered against the two accused under section 281/125(A) BNS (279/337).

The incident took place when a luxury car hit scooty and crashed into a tree in front of the Jorbagh Post Office. According to the police, the car was driven recklessly at a high speed, injuring both persons. The injured people has been shifted to a trauma centre, where Naitik is stable while Tushar is in critical condition.

Scooty Hit by Audi Car

Both the accused have been detained. One was driving the car and the other was sitting with him. Both are BBA students, said Delhi Police, reported by news agency ANI.

Additional DCP South, Achin Garg, said, "Around 11:45 PM, we received a PCR call regarding an accident... The accident took place in front of the Zorbagh Post Office, involving a red Audi car and a scooter. The Audi had two occupants, aged 19 and 20, while the scooter had two riders, a 21-year-old and a 14-15-year-old... The Audi driver took the victims to the hospital."
