The swearing-in ceremony as Delhi Chief Minister will be held at Ram Leela Maidan in the National Capital on Thursday, February 20. Although the BJP has not yet announced the name of the new CM, the saffron party returned to power after three decades in Delhi and intends to make the Oath-taking ceremony a grand event.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of NDA-ruled states, and other senior leaders will attend the oath-taking ceremony. A meeting of NDA Chief Ministers may also be convened on the same day. The BJP won 48 out of 70 seats in the recent Delhi elections.

BJP Delhi in a post on X said, "A new chapter of Delhi's progress is about to begin. With the 'Developed Delhi Pledge Ceremony', we all will together move towards new heights of development in Delhi. Come to Ram Leela Maidan and be witness to this historic moment!"

On preparations for the oath ceremony at Ram Leela Maidan, BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said, "Look, the largest ground in Delhi is Ram Leela Maidan, and from there, the Aam Aadmi Party was formed. They deceived the people of Delhi with false promises, but now, a government with Modi's guarantee is being formed..."

The chief minister and six cabinet ministers will take oath on February  20 at Ramlila Maidan around 4:30 pm. BJP National General Secretaries Vinod Tawde and Tarun Chugh have been entrusted with organising the event.

Two stages will be set up at the venue, one for the Chief Minister, ministers, Prime Minister and other senior leaders. Over 100,000 people are expected to attend the oath-taking ceremony, with seating arrangements for over 50,000. LED screens will be installed at the venue and outside. Parking for buses will be arranged near Rajghat and Mata Sundari College.
