New Delhi, Aug 5 Delhi Commissioner of Police SN Shrivastava on Wednesday met the rank holders in the civil services examination, who come from Delhi police families.

He congratulated Vishakha Yadav (Rank 6), Navneet Mann (33), Natisha Mathur (37), Garima (459), Gaurav Kumar (475) and Constable Firoz Alam (645) on their success and presented them with mementos.

During the interaction the Commissioner underlined that their success is not only a matter of pride for the Delhi police, but would also inspire Delhi police wards to follow in their footsteps.

Vishakha Yadav is the daughter of Assistant Sub Inspector Raj Kumar, posted at Dwarka, while Navneet Mann's father is Inspector Sukhdev Singh Mann.

Both Natisha Mathur and Garima are probationer ACPs undergoing training at PTC, Jharoda Kalan. They have improved their rankings. Garima is the daughter of ASI Shri Krishan posted in the PCR unit, Model Town. Gaurav Kumar is the son of late Inspector VK Singh who was posted as Addl SHO, Sadar Bazar.

Constable Firoz Alam joined the Delhi Police in 2010 and is presently posted in the CPCR unit, Haiderpur. Firoz has done exceedingly well by working hard in a tough job and excelling in studies at the same time.
