A Panic gripped Bawana in outer north Delhi after armed attackers opened fired inside a house on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Police suspect that gang rivalry is involved behind the attack.

As per the initial information, incident occurred when group of armed men barged into house and fired multiple rounds. On of which hit a man identified as Ravi.  Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North) Hareshwar Swami said Ravi died in the firing incident, while three others sustained gunshot. 

According to NDTV reports, deceased's 10-year-old nephew sustained a gunshot wound to the leg, while his father, Anil Bhardwaj, 55, and neighbor, Raj Kumar, 46, were also injured. Police and forensic teams investigated the scene and collected evidence.

A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita and the Arms Act, and multiple police teams are searching for the attackers. CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed to locate them.
