New Delhi, April 21 NDMC Chairperson Keshav Chandra congratulated all students, teachers, principals, parents, and education department officials for the outstanding results of Class X across the civic body’s schools.

Supriya Lohani from Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya, Kidwai Nagar, secured the top position among all NDMC school students by scoring an impressive 462 out of 500 (92.4 per cent) in the board examinations.

Her achievement is an inspiration for fellow students and a testament to hard work, dedication, and proper guidance from teachers and parents, said Chandra.

The exceptional performance of students and institutions reflects the continuous efforts of NDMC towards providing quality education and holistic development to every child, he said.

In another historic accomplishment, all Atal Adarsh Vidyalayas of NDMC achieved a 100 per cent pass rate for the first time.

“This landmark success highlights the strong academic foundation, disciplined environment, and commitment of the schools towards excellence in education,” said Chandra.

Equally commendable is the performance of the Day Time School of NDMC, established for the welfare and education of dropout students, which also achieved a 100 per cent result, he said, adding that this achievement demonstrates the civic agency's inclusive educational approach and its mission to bring every child back into the mainstream of learning.

Chandra greeted students, teachers, principals, parents, and education officials for their good performance and stated that the results reflect the dedicated efforts of the NDMC Education Department in strengthening academic standards, modern teaching practices, and student support systems.

The New Delhi Municipal Council remains committed to further enhancing educational infrastructure, digital learning facilities, skill development, and overall student welfare, so that its schools continue to set new benchmarks in academic excellence, the statement said.

Chandra said these historic results reaffirm NDMC's vision of creating empowered, educated, and responsible citizens for the future.
