New Delhi, Dec 27 One person was killed and two others injured in an accident at the Nehru place flyover in south east Delhi in the early hours on Sunday, police said.

The accident happened when a tempo collided into a stationary truck, which had been wrongly parked on the road.

According to the police, 'A truck was parked on the road in a negligent manner causing danger and obstruction in the navigation which resulted in the collision between a tempo and the mixture truck."

Deputy Commissioner of Police R.P. Meena said, "A 55-year-old man identified as Subedar, a resident of Neb Sarai, was found stuck in the damaged cabin of tempo. He was taken out from the cabin and sent to the AIIMS immediately, but was declared brought dead by the doctor.

"Other injured persons, namely Jaichand and Samsher, who were also in the tempo, were admitted to the hospital for treatment."

A case under sections 283/337/304A IPC was registered on the statement of an eyewitness at the Kalkaji police station.
