New Delhi, October 2, 2024: The Delhi Police have dismantled an international drug syndicate and seized than 560 kilograms of cocaine and arresting four individuals in the city's largest drug bust to date.

Officers from the Special Cell arrested four individuals in the Mehrauli area of South Delhi. According to police, the seized cocaine is valued at approximately Rs. 2,000 crores in the international market.

According to reports, the drugs were intended for distribution in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), where demand is notably high during the festive season. Police received a tip-off about the drug trafficking operation two months ago and had since been monitoring the movements of the accused.

The Delhi Police are also investigating a potential narco-terrorism angle related to this case.
