In Bengaluru seven people lost their lives in a tragic road accident near M. Satyavara village in Hoskote taluk of on Friday morning. The fatal crash involved a canter vehicle, a motorcycle and a car in a chain of collisions. The incident took place on the busy Hoskote-Dabaspete National Highway when a car travelling along the stretch first struck a motorcycle ahead of it. The force of the impact reportedly caused the car driver to lose control, after which the vehicle rammed into a canter moving on the same road. Six car occupants and the biker died instantly.
Initial findings indicate that excessive speed may have been a key factor behind the accident. According to police sources, the car was allegedly being driven at a very high speed when it crashed into the motorcycle from behind. The sudden jolt is believed to have thrown the vehicle off balance, causing the driver to lose command over steering. In the chaos that followed, the car swerved uncontrollably and collided head-on with the oncoming canter vehicle, resulting in a devastating impact that left little chance of survival for those involved in the crash.
