A section of a service lane near KM Chowk in Dwarka’s Sector 12, Delhi, caved in on Monday night, causing a car to fall into the resulting pit and disrupting traffic. Locals managed to rescue two individuals from the car, but no official statement has been issued regarding the incident.

Former AAP MLA Gulab Singh Yadav criticized the BJP, accusing them of neglecting the issues as they assumed power. "The BJP wasted no time after taking office today. This is KM Chowk in Dwarka, part of the Matiala assembly constituency, where every elected representative, from MP to MLA to Municipal Councilor, is from the BJP. Delhi residents should be prepared to endure this for the next five years," Yadav posted.

Meanwhile, on February 22, newly elected Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her cabinet met with officials from the Public Works Department (PWD) and Delhi Jal Board (DJB) to discuss road conditions and water supply in the city. "We held a crucial meeting with DJB and PWD officials. Water-related concerns were addressed in detail with the Jal Board, and discussions also took place regarding the condition of damaged roads and drains, with plans for necessary improvements. We remain committed to serving and developing Delhi for its residents," the Chief Minister wrote on X. The BJP, in response, blamed the previous AAP government for the poor state of roads, inadequate drinking water, contaminated water supply, sewer overflows, and blocked drains in the city, making these issues a central point of their election campaign
