Tragedy struck Delhi's Deer Park on Sunday morning as the bodies of two teenagers, a boy and a girl, were discovered hanging from a tree. Initial police investigations suggest the deaths were a result of suicide.

At approximately 6:31 am, Baljit Singh, a security guard at Deer Park, reported the discovery to the Delhi Police. Upon arrival at the scene, police found the bodies of the two teenagers, both around 17 years old, suspended from a tree branch using a single nylon rope.

"Police staff reached the spot and found that a boy and a girl, aged about 17 years, hanged themselves with a common nylon rope on a branch of a tree," stated a Delhi Police spokesperson. "The crime team was called for inspection, and the bodies have been shifted to the mortuary." The police have registered a case and are currently conducting further investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
