Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey has given a clarification on joining politics and his resignation. On Tuesday, there were reports that DGP Pandey is soon going to resign from his post and he may contest the Bihar Assembly elections.

He had recently took VRS from his services in Bihar Police as Director General of Police(DGP)

DGP Gupteshwar Pandey, who made headlines in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, had raised many questions over the Mumbai Police's investigation into the actor's death.
