Donald Trump lands in Delhi

US President Donald Trump arrived in New Delhi on Monday evening for the second leg of his maiden India trip.

New Delhi, Feb 24 US President Donald Trump arrived in New Delhi on Monday evening for the second leg of his maiden India trip.

Trump was accompanied by his wife Melania, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner, among others. He was received at the airport by Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.

Earlier in the day, the US President attended the 'Namaste Trump' event at the Motera stadium in Ahmedabad before visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra.

The US President will be given a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan On Tuesday morning. He will then visit the Rajghat to pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, before holding delegation level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
