On Wednesday, April 9, on Air India aircraft AI2336, which was travelling from Delhi to Bangkok,  a passenger is accused of peeing on the managing director of the international corporation Bridgestone, reported Republic TV. The report states that the individual who allegedly peed on another passenger is an Indian national. The airline reported the incident to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The managing director of the tyre manufacturing company asked the airline to issue him an apology. The incident happened on Air India's business class.

An Indian guy named Tushar Masand, who was sitting in 2D, peed on Hiroshi Yoshizane, the Managing Director of Bridgestone India, who was situated in 1D, during the descent of the Airbus A320 (VT-RTS), according to a report submitted by the airline.

The airline crew promptly moved Masand to a different seat and apologised for the unacceptable attitude after Yoshizane reported the incident to them. Yoshizane was quickly helped by senior cabin staff members Sunpreet Singh and Rishika Matre, who offered towels and helped him clean up. After that, the captain was informed of the occurrence, and he was led to the restroom to change. Another traveler, Matthew, who was sitting in 1F, became agitated and asked that Masand be taken out of the business class area due to safety concerns.

Masand constantly apologizes to Hiroshi after the event. Hiroshi, however, decided against filing a formal complaint, stating that he didn't want to spend more time on the issue after landing. Masand was given a verbal warning and moved to seat 14C after Matthew refused to sit next to him, even though no formal complaint was made.

"Air India confirms that an incident of unruly passenger behaviour was reported to the cabin crew operating flight AI2336 from Delhi to Bangkok on 9 April 2025," an official told ANI. The issue has been reported to the authorities, and the crew complied with all established protocols. Our crew not only warned the rowdy traveler but also offered to help a disgruntled passenger file a complaint with the authorities in Bangkok. However, this offer was turned down at the time. To evaluate the situation and decide whether to take any action against the rowdy passenger, the standing Independent Committee will be called into session. Air India nevertheless complies with the DGCA's SOPs in these situations.
